Originally a television anthology series, this dramatization brings to life several true stories of the Vietnam War. From a cynical soldier (Wesley Snipes) involved in a village disaster to three soldiers comparing war experiences in a bar, the stories run the gamut of wartime horror and sorrow. In one of the stories, K.C. (Eriq La Salle), a corporal, is trapped by a land mine on the verge of explosion and must entrust his life to his fellow soldiers.
