An absolutely abysmal version of the Gore Vidal television, and later Broadway play. The ideal behind the play was weak to begin with, but salvaged by Vidal's writing and excellent acting. Reduced to a vehicle for Lewis' limited range of buffoonery, you'd be better off watching reruns of Gilligan's Island, which has about the same intellectual level.
