Synopsis
In the years immediately following World War II, the residents of the small Czechoslovakian village of Bystre look forward to an idyllic existence free from Nazi occupation. Seemingly out of nowhere, though, a group of communists begins campaigning in the town, urging the villagers to give over their land in the name of communism. It's up to Frantisek (Radoslav Brzobohatý) to rally the villagers and lead a charge against the interfering communists.
