Waikiki Wedding turns out to be a tuneful and amusing debunking of the Hawaiian legend, Bing supplying most of the tunes and Martha Raye, as the heroine's companion, most of the comedy. Go to Full Review

05/27/2021 A rather decent depression-era escapist movie with singing, comedy, and an exotic locale. The movie is a little rough at times -- as in unrefined in the arts of movie-making -- yet it has its charms and originality. The comedy is inconsistent but the romance is gentle and soothing. Worth watching as a predecessor to later rom-coms, and worth watching for itself as a diversion from the real world. See more 04/29/2019 The best movie song ever sung: Sweet Leilani! Bing always relaxes me. See more 01/07/2008 Wonderful Movie, Bing croons Blue Hawaii amazingly, I cannot agree about Martha Raye being ugly. Great Picture See more Read all reviews
