Irene J I loved this movie- well done in every way! The content is heartbreaking but a must see for everyone,,,everywhere! Both my husband and I cried through the whole movie for what is happening to our beautiful children right under our noses!! Please extend this movie to be available to more people at more viewing times. I cannot stress enough that this is a movie that everyone needs to see! Wake Up is an absolute must see and we all need to wake up to the evil that is lurking around us!! Help us save our children by getting educated! Thank you for making a movie that makes a difference! My life will never be the same after seeing this movie!! God bless the creators of this movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/16/22 Full Review Marcy B I had to mentally prepare to watch this. My husband and I watched it together after our middle schoolers were in bed. The content was intense and a couple of times we discussed that I might need to watch the film solo. This story is hard to watch, but it's real. Please watch it so that you can be aware and can help children in these situations. We all can do something. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/01/23 Full Review Jessica B Eye opening! Trafficking is NOT like you see in the movies, It's happening in our own neighborhoods and our most vulnerable are being targeted. The movie also brings light how the adult entertainment industry can be a gateway to the abuse of these poor children (and adults). Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/23 Full Review Allison A Everyone should watch this movie! It will make you realize that child trafficking could be happening right in your own neighborhood. It was extremely difficult to watch, but Janet Craig did a phenomenal job on this movie. All of the actors were amazing. I was fortunate enough to go to a screening where we were surprised at the end with a few of the actors being there when the lights came up. You know a movie is good and the actors are so believable when you want to spit in the face of the antagonist when you see him in real life! I really hope that everyone gets a chance to see this movie and becomes involved in helping to put a stop to human trafficking. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/11/23 Full Review Jody M Having had worked with youth who have been trafficked in the United States, this film does an excellent job explaining how easy it is for girls and boys in suburban areas to get caught up in the life. The film is a journey into the some of the realities and complexities of foster care, labor trafficking & sex trafficking. EXCELLENT JOB! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/22/23 Full Review Brooke R Wake Up is an incredible eye opener, a must see for all! Even if you think you have an understanding, this movie will make you realize all the ways this is impacting our local communities. Excellent cast, so well done!
