      Critics Consensus

Though wholesome, the Mandy Moore vehicle A Walk to Remember is also bland and oppressively syrupy.

Vickie E "A walk to remember" walked so that "fault in our stars" could run Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Derek C Although it's a teen movie & a little predictable at times, it is filled with compassion, love, & faith. Overall, it was heartfelt. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Herbert F A sweet movie with an excellent performance by a much younger Mandy Moore. Could've been better with a different director and less musical montages. Nevertheless, I enjoyed the movie as well as Mandy Moores character. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/24 Full Review Yash B "A Walk to Remember" is admittedly very silly and cheesy at times, but it is so genuinely sweet and heartwarming, that it won me over by the end. The movie is a likable romance movie that can be accessible to a wide range of age groups and I think it really captures that early 2000s era. I think watching movies about high schoolers from this era is such a unique feeling that I found the movie a bit nostalgic. I do feel the more tragic elements of this movie came off as a bit sappy, but a lot of the emotions felt real and I do think it is a movie that is sad but with purpose. Overall, it is a movie that knows what it needs to be and one that I found to be surprisingly good considering romance is not a genre I seek that often. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/24 Full Review Ilson Simão S Filme previsível, atuações rasas, nada original. Um filme para esquecer.
