Adam Nayman The Ringer The tale of a trash compactor from the future who's desperate for connection isn't just one of Pixar's unlikeliest successes, but its most arresting and prescient. Jun 17, 2022 Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator Much of the film is wonderfully imagined, and there is something utterly winning about this tin can topped with binoculars... It's just a shame that, at the end, it trips itself up with its own SENTIMENTALITE. Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Glenn Kenny MUBI Although Wall-E ends with a very apt and moving nod to City Lights, it is in fact Pixar's answer to Modern Times-both a bravura summation of everything the studio is great at and a "You ain't seen nothing yet!" statement of purpose. Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It’s a remarkable accomplishment, and it only gets better with time. Mar 1, 2024 Full Review Brian Susbielles InSession Film Stanton directs a masterpiece that is to behold forever among the greatest animated films. Feb 14, 2023 Full Review Eve Tushnet Patheos Clever and endearing. I would not call this essential viewing but I enjoyed it more than I expected. Oct 21, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Grace M The director Andrew Stanton used the cinematic technique long shot in the movie Wall-E (2008) to reveal to us the advancement in technology in very futuristic. When Walle and Eve were traveling on a small, fast, see-through, tram on the spaceship the directors used a long shot to show where they were heading to. Eve got taken in a giant spaceship because she found a plant. Walle was in love with her, so he snuck onto the spaceship. Eve had to go to the captain of the spacecraft's office, so they had to go on the fast see-through tram. When they were on the train the director used a long shot to show where the robots are heading to. Ultimately using a long shot in Walle, it revealed to us the cool advancement in technology. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/25 Full Review Joey G Even though this movie has a bit of talking, it didn’t need it to be amazing. Pixar listen to me, make a WALL-E 2, not a Toy Story 5. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review Amir S A masterpiece in its own right, the jewel in the crown. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/19/25 Full Review Benjamin S Beautiful, sweet, funny. Offers an interesting commentary on society while having great visuals and an amazing storyline. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/25 Full Review Emma F The visuals were stellar and WALL-E was very charming. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Russell H Looks awesome but I found the voices annoying and sometimes had trouble paying attention to what was going on Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Read all reviews
