ashley h Waltz of the Toreadors is a disappointing film. It is about the retirement of General Leo Fitzjohn. Peter Sellers and Dany Robin give horrible performances. The screenplay is badly written. John Guillermin did a terrible job directing this movie. I was not impressed with this motion picture. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Frances H Peter sellers could be brilliant, as in Dr. Strangelove, Being there and even in short cameos, such s his corrupt[t doctor in The Wrong Box, but he not in this strange flick that has little rhyme or reason. Just weird and not in a good way. I haven't seen it since uni. days, so I'll give it 4*s, but that's a bit provisional. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Peter Sellers plays a retiring old general who still has lots of energy for chasing young women. Nice ok-type comedy. Beautiful english landscapes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Read all reviews
