Inventive cinematography: The film's cinematography is inventive, with overhead shots that capture the vast geometry of troop formations. Thoughtful script: The film's script is thoughtful, and the story is compelling. Remarkable battle direction: The film's battle direction is some of the most remarkable of the entire adaptation. Epic battle scenes: The film features some of the most epic battle scenes ever put to film. Captures the passion and tragedy: The film captures all the passion and tragedy of Napoleon's clash against the Russian aristocracy. See more s r @ScottR 08/24/2022 A bit more of a focus on the actual details of battle and how crazy it was on the front. Now we focus on some new generals from both sides showing their thoughts and how it affects the main characters.
