Looking to escape from his dying world, the orc shaman Gul'dan utilizes dark magic to open a portal to the human realm of Azeroth. Supported by the fierce fighter Blackhand, Gul'dan organizes the orc clans into a conquering army called the Horde. Uniting to protect Azeroth from these hulking invaders are King Llane, the mighty warrior Anduin Lothar (Travis Fimmel) and the powerful wizard Medivh. As the two races collide, leaders from each side start to question if war is the only answer.

Genuinely liked it, however it is and should be watched as such as a starter to the story, much like dipping your toes into the pool before jumping in. The movie is about setting the story to allow people who don't know anything about Warcraft to understand what was then supposed to go ahead in the later movies. This is why I'd imagine a lot of people are saying they don't like it, because they were hoping for a fully blown right into the story. It's a great looking movie, actors done a good job, so if you're looking a way to start to understand what Warcraft is about or just straight up not a snob about it you should enjoy this movie.

It is a good movie, based on a good game, you have to understand something and that is that in a short time the movie has to captivate, you cannot develop complex stories like the story of the game, the performances are very good.

If you're a sci-fi or fantasy fan this is a very well put together story with excellent actors and a very easy to follow story. The special effects and CGI were a bit dated, but they put everything together very nicely. Was expecting a disaster and was greeted with a best fantasy movie of the year most likely.
