Audience Member Watch this if: You long for documentaries by and about Indigenous peoples and their stories. Madonna Thunder Hawk is a force to be reckoned with. We watched with tears in our eyes as this passionate Lakota leader and her daughter addressed some of the biggest issues faced by Indigenous peoples in North America. This film breaks down major stereotypes and uses key moments in history to shatter them. We found ourselves weeping in frustration, but the experience also left us with a fire in our hearts and hope in our souls.
