Thomas U Una secuela de la adaptación animada con ligeras mejoras que la hacen mantenerse en el rango, expandiendo más detalles en su narrativa y siendo convincente. "Watchmen: Chapter II" es una película que complementa de forma significativa todo el planteamiento de su antecesora, abarcando más detalles importantes dentro de un contexto narrativo y brindando una experiencia satisfactoria para los fanáticos de este universo. Acá las viñetas del cómic de Alan Moore cobran vida con una mejor funcionalidad, abarcando temas un poco más complejos y abriendo camino a esas historias dentro de la misma historia, donde se establece ese nexo o vínculo primordial que tenían las páginas de esta obra. Una vez más Brandon Vietti como director vuelve a cumplir, estando a la altura y sobresaliendo en una adaptación que a pesar de sus contras, tiene un potencial abismal y se ve reflejado en pantalla. El director implementa el recorrido ya visto de la película anterior, pero con ligeras mejoras que fomentan una experiencia muy entretenida. Todo el apartado de la animación tiene una mejora simple, pequeña o con una mejor ejecución, todo ello desde un punto de vista donde la mejora en su renderización es evidente, además de aplicar una tonalidad de colores más fuertes y llamativos, siempre teniendo en cuenta que ahora tenemos una perspectiva diferente por los personajes de Silk Spectre II y Nite Owl II. También se puede comentar que no se aleja de ese juego de contraste entre imágenes, juego de iluminación con sombras y su nivel detalle, los cuales ayudan en gran manera todo lo visto en pantalla. Por parte la fluidez de movimiento, se mejoró considerablemente, estando más creíble y entretenida en escenas que ameritan persecuciones y acción de combates. Sin embargo, no significa que sea excelente, aun tiene pequeños destellos al igual que su antecesora, pero sí se agradece el empeño. Aunado a ello, el arte conceptual, el dibujo, los entornos, la nitidez, y juego de ediciones entre imágenes son muy formidables. El trabajo de la partitura musical es una gran elección, elevando o estableciendo una conexión eficaz para toda la trama de la película. Es un apartado que complementa de excelente manera a toda la experiencia. Además, el guion tiene esas atmósferas de intriga, suspenso, investigación y giros que pueden llegarte a sorprender. Sin duda alguna, es una adaptación bastante entretenida. El trabajo del doblaje de voz, muy bien, cumple su cometido. En resumen, es una película que fomenta un cierre bastante acertado y que como secuela establece un antes y un después, otorgando detalles importantes, escenas entretenidas y una conexión fiel con sus verdaderos fanáticos. When I viewed the first part, I had no idea Michael Straczynski wrote the script. No wonder this adaptation is so faithful to the comic, even including Tales of the Black Freighter. Mythic undertones run throughout the story, including the request of humans to a "god" to help them in their plight. Rorschach is simply one of the best characters ever created. The graphic novel will ALWAYS be perfection and the best way to entertain yourself with the Watchmen story, but having 2 animated movies that feel INSANELY faithful to the novel is just awesome. Animation deserves to be the medium to get this story right, and it rules. While I understand 3D cell-shaded animation isn't always some folks' cup of tea, I think watching it at its' highest quality available really makes it pop. The animation is swift, clean, crisp and gets very pleasing to look at. The colors, the movements, the voice work, a lot of the visuals, all fantastic. The story of Watchmen is naturally so jaw-dropping and unforgettable. Since this is an adaptation, we can already expect that classic, epic story to be here. No need to comment on this because the awesomeness of the plot is already included. Overall, I'd say check this out if you either don't want to or can't read the comic (please do! it's incredible!). This a a complex super hero story. Based on earth 1985. Masked heroes have been banned. However some are still active solving crimes. The latest of them being that someone is killing masked heroes. Really good story full of twists and turns. A must watch for the fans.
