On the tough urban streets of Washington, D.C., 10-year-old Thaniel Battle (Cordereau Dye) takes up with a gang who plans to rob a shop owned by Jewish immigrant Eli Zeal (Burt Reynolds). During the robbery, Eli puts up a fight -- and in the ensuing chaos, Thaniel unwittingly shoots him. Audience Member Funny and one of Burt Reynolds' better ones Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member [VHS] Burt Reynolds performance was stiff at times but he seemed to settle into his role. The rest of the cast was excellent, and it was a good story told well. It wasn't overly inspiring, but it was a worthwhile watch. Make sure to stay until the end of the credits!
