Stephen Romei The Australian This is a funny-sad, poignant, beautifully acted film that explores questions we will all have to face at some time in our lives. Jan 31, 2025 Full Review Sandra Hall Sydney Morning Herald Despite the weightiness of the theme, Pugh and Garfield extract a lot of fun from their scenes together. They deftly sidestep any hint of sentimentality. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 23, 2025 Full Review Amon Warmann Empire Magazine Pugh and Garfield are a dynamite duo in this likably earnest, satisfyingly complicated love story. Worthy of your time, and your tears. Rated: 4/5 Jan 16, 2025 Full Review John Serba Decider The ending may not be as cathartic as those looking for a good cleansing bawl might hope, but generally, this damn thing is good at setting its hooks and squeezing a few salty ones out. Feb 8, 2025 Full Review Matt Pais MattPais.com A film that doesn’t accumulate but merely plateaus, assuming it has captured and delivered something that remains very far off. Rated: C Feb 7, 2025 Full Review Anne Brodie What She Said Time-jumping cuts illustrating memory and the ticking clock. Pugh’s outstanding performance lingers, a note perfect portrayal of a woman who knows her mind and faces insurmountable odds. Never saccharin or exploitative. Sean Incredible Story My Wife And I Loved It Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/25 Full Review Anna R I’ve never written a movie review before but I truly loved this movie. It had me in tears in the first 15 minutes and emotions continued straight through to the end. 100% worth watching Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/25 Full Review Ari MADE ME BAWL and it was just so touching Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/25 Full Review Jalen S Florence Pugh is amazing per usual. She’s a standout here yet again. Loved her performance. Andrew Garfield also gives a funny and heartwarming performance. Great chemistry here. This film occasionally scratches the surface of feeling generic at times but veers from that often, every now and then. It spends most of its time looking back at admiring life while also looking to the future. The going back and forth between the past, present, and future in random order was an interesting and unique way of telling this story. Its structure is one of the most interesting parts of the film. I think it ends up working in the end for the most part. At least for me. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/27/24 Full Review Kenneth H One of the worst movies I have ever seen. It's all out of order and the time line of events gets confusing, and it's all done for seemingly no purpose whatsoever. I'm all for movies showing events out of order when there's a reason for it, but it just makes no sense for this movie honestly. It was not entertaining and sad and just one of the worst movie experiences I've ever had. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 12/21/24 Full Review Beny M This movie was okay but kinda boring. I thought there would be more emotions I really didn’t think it was that sad which is what I was expecting but didn’t really get any of that. I felt like the story was good but not great only reason I give a 2 and a half stars. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Read all reviews
