The story is very good and all of the characters very convincing, it's sad it wasn't shot with bigger resources. See more 07/23/2008 Very dark polish comedy that as one disaster builds upon another disaster until you feel a level of despair close to that of the main protagonist. There is much greed and lust for money running through the centre of the film and all the characters are extremely selfish and self serving but so well drawn that despite their obvious bad qualities you cannot help liking them. How bizarre is a polish wedding? Is it really this bizarre? Apparently after looking into it, it really is! and if it's possible they seem to drink more as a nation than we do in the UK. So it's likeably absurd but also quite real, it's funny for sure but also uncomfortable watching at times. We're showing it in Peterborough but sadly I very much doubt anyone will come and watch which is a shame. See more Read all reviews
