Its playful title notwithstanding, Weed the People is a tough watch-but it's definitely worth sticking with it. Go to Full Review

Beyond its plea for research, the documentary is largely hopeful, but for balance could include more anecdotes and details of when the treatment doesn't have the desired results. Go to Full Review
John DeFore The Hollywood Reporter 10/24/2018
Though the film seems pretty thoroughly convinced on this topic, its main argument should ring true even for skeptics: We won't know the answers if, thanks to the drug's Schedule I status in the US, scientists remain unable to study its effects. Go to Full Review

See more 06/11/2019 It's one thing to read studies showing medical marijuana may help cancer patients. It's an entirely different thing seeing children affected by cancer and the parents desperately willing to try anything to keep their loved ones. This documentary shines a positive light on a federally illegal schedule 1 drug. See more 11/01/2018 Everything in this film is pretty much correct, except when they state that medicinal marijuana is not addictive and doesn't lead to opioid dependence. If you're going to try to make a fact-based film, make sure you don't get sidetracked by your political bias. See more 10/24/2018 This movie is going to help change the world for the healthier!!
