I simply do not understand why this film has such a low review rating. This was a fresh and unique take on the werewolf genre, and the best werewolf film to be released in years. The acting is solid, the effects are quite good considering the budget, and it's very gory. The story has a nice mystery to it as well. This is worth checking out.

I'm definitely not a fan of werewolf movies but this was quite bad. Acting was alright and it started intriguing but turned out to be a cheap looking tv movie. Waste of time.

Werewolf films have grown tired in recent years, not since the legendary American Werewolf in London have we had an original take on the legend. This film is a fresh perspective, bringing high-octane set pieces and flushes of blood and guts to keep the horror punters happy. This is well worth a watch and by far the most original take on the werewolf legend since John Landis's brilliant film.

While Wer stumbles a bit out of the gate, a fiercely wild werewolf story eventually takes over that enters genre areas previously unexplored by horror filmmakers, resulting in an ambitious payoff that redefines how we see werewolves.
