Niall Browne Movies in Focus We’re Not Safe Here is a deftly handled little chiller. It gets under your skin, offering up quiet scares rather than cheap shocks. Rated: 4/5 Sep 4, 2025 Full Review Abbie Bernstein Assignment X Nightmarish, hallucinatory and unnerving. Rated: B Aug 25, 2025 Full Review Sarah Vincent Sarah G Vincent Views sustaining that level of performance and execution to essentially a concept with zero form is impressive, but it is a big waste. Stop the madness because life is short, and there is better content anywhere else. Boring AF. Aug 24, 2025 Full Review Srijoni Rudra Digital Mafia Talkies We’re Not Safe Here is a mixed bag. The fact that the usual tropes are avoided is definitely worth appreciating, but what is the point of a horror if it doesn’t really leave you petrified? Aug 23, 2025 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies It's a good idea, to be clear, but the filmmaker's feature debut simply doesn't have much of a story to tell with it. Chris S Do you like campfire ghost stories? That's basically what this is, except the story is told in the living room of a house. The story is good, and very well told, with suspense and surrounding scares reminiscent of the sound of an animal moving close by in the woods when a good camp fire ghost story is told. Your senses will be hightened as you listen to the story, and you will find yourself locked in to it. Also, I think the ending of the movie is well done, - which can't be said for a lot of otherwise good horror movies. It's not one of best horror movies ever made, not even close, but it's definitely worth watching. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/06/25 Full Review Colt R It was pretty scary. Reminds me of smile. It's constantly unnerving and you always feel like something is about to happen. But at times I felt a little lost. The pacing was bad and it almost felt like it didn't have much of a climax. Acting was good. Has a lot of room for improvement but I do reccomend it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/31/25 Full Review Kyle T I can appreciate the originality of the story and the way it was told onscreen. I just wasn’t sure what I was supposed to be scared of exactly? I watched it twice in case I missed something. Nice job by the actors.
