We’re Not Safe Here is a deftly handled little chiller. It gets under your skin, offering up quiet scares rather than cheap shocks. Go to Full Review

sustaining that level of performance and execution to essentially a concept with zero form is impressive, but it is a big waste. Stop the madness because life is short, and there is better content anywhere else. Boring AF. Go to Full Review

We’re Not Safe Here is a mixed bag. The fact that the usual tropes are avoided is definitely worth appreciating, but what is the point of a horror if it doesn’t really leave you petrified? Go to Full Review

It's a good idea, to be clear, but the filmmaker's feature debut simply doesn't have much of a story to tell with it. Go to Full Review

Heather D @deepsters 6h Don’t pay attention to the bad reviews on this one. This is an impressively crafted indie horror film that accomplishes far more than its modest budget would suggest. Rather than relying on cheap shocks, it delivers a series of inventive, genuinely unsettling moments that horror fans will likely appreciate. The film embraces a stylish slow-burn approach, unfolding like a surreal waking nightmare steeped in atmospheric dread. Viewers who favor immersive, atmospheric horror over a heavily plot-driven narrative will find a great deal to admire here. See more Ray S. @ray21122 4d Piece of crap not worrh you time See more TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch May 5 We’re Not Safe Here is a horror film that struggles to create the tension or emotional investment needed to leave any real impact. What should have been a suspenseful and unsettling experience instead feels flat, underdeveloped, and disconnected for most of its runtime. The screenplay is the film’s biggest weakness. The story never fully pulls the audience in, and instead of building suspense, it often feels like it is stalling. Scenes drag without meaningful progression, and the pacing causes the movie to lose momentum repeatedly. Rather than escalating tension, the film constantly feels like it is collapsing under weak execution. There are hints of stronger ideas beneath the surface, and at times it seems like the movie could have developed into something far more effective. Unfortunately, those moments are never fully explored or realized in a satisfying way. Overall, We’re Not Safe Here is a forgettable horror film that tries hard to create intensity but never truly connects See more Marcus K @Mkiehl May 4 This movie was INCREDIBLY boring. The first 45 minutes is one girl telling an insanely long, drawn out story that goes nowhere and the girl listening barely reacts. Then it’s one incredibly long, slow take after another of someone walking slowly down a hallway and doing things no person would ever do…and that go nowhere. Throw in some not so great jump scares, waaaay too many dreams within a dream, within a dream sequences and a lack of any real explanation of anything…and you have this movie. I only gave it the second half star because it didn’t look cheap and the sound was decent and a lot of bad movies can’t claim that. See more Mary G. @thesemoviesareass May 2 I can’t believe anyone gave this movie a great rating. It was complete SHIT. Wasn’t scary, didn’t keep you on edge, lacked a good plot, and ended predictably. Where the hell are these good reviews coming from? See more Jesse M. @JesseOnFire May 1 How this movie has flown THIS under the radar is crazy. This movie is GOOD. It's also VERY scary. I watched it on my iPad during the day and was still super scared. Just a constant feeling of impending doom that never lets up. Highly recommend (this is a 100% real review. I have a YouTube channel Jesse on Fire. I'm a real person and I really watched this. Trust me...it's worth the watch See more Read all reviews
