It’s not a good movie, but it’s a tight little time passer. Frank Grillo, who’s at the center of it (playing a ripped bruiser who is also… a molecular biologist!), has a way of making any pulp movie better.

The premise is quite silly, but interesting. Frank Grillo is, well, Frank Grillo. And that's a good thing. But ultimately Werewolves fall short. It's just...there. There's a small portion of bloody werewolf carnage, but not enough to fill you up.
