Synopsis
In the first of a series of Henry Aldrich films based on a long-running Broadway play, mischief-making teen Henry (Jackie Cooper) repeatedly has to overcome a reputation for being the worst student at his high school. His antics cause his mother (Hedda Hopper) and father untold grief, especially since dad was once a model student at Princeton. When Henry is accused by a teacher of cheating and stealing the school band's instruments, he has a hard time proving his innocence.
