Synopsis
Seeing a chance to secure his future, bank clerk Philippe Delaroche (Henri Vidal) curries favor with middle-aged heiress Betty Farnwell (Isa Miranda) in Nice, Italy. Happy to have the attentions of an attractive younger man, Betty marries him. Soon after, however, Philippe finds himself captivated by the sultry Eva Dollan (Mylène Demongeot) and begins an affair. Quickly growing obsessed with Eva, Philippe is distraught when she makes plans to marry another and decides to rid himself of Betty.
