Tim Cogshell FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) I reject the bottom line of what is basically a morality play. Mar 15, 2023 Full Review Michael Rechtshaffen Los Angeles Times While it doesn’t venture far from its evident stage roots, neither does “What We Do Next,” a sinewy, tautly calibrated morality play, ever stray from the decidedly contemporary issues at its complex core. Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Beatrice Loayza New York Times The result doesn’t make the best use of the medium’s powers, but the chatty ride does make for good food for thought. Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix What We Do Next is a superbly acted and well-written drama that tackles issues of race, gender, and social class in American politics and the U.S. criminal justice system. dave d I found this movie's premise ridiculous and was often repulsed at how casually the filmmaker treats a very serious issue. The best thing about the feature is how quickly it's over at 75 minutes! Miss this! Final Score: 2/10 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/27/24 Full Review Sal D Slick produced nuts and bolts seven part drama, driven by outstanding performances from each of the three characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Fran U Ventimilla was so obnoxious that I stopped watching the film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Andre G Powerful and intense. Great acting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review luis t Absolutely captivating, these 3 actors really put on a great performance! 1.5 hours of suspense and thrill. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/11/23 Full Review Steve R A lot happens in this 80 minute movie that will give you and friends much to debate! Full of ethical dilemmas that adults in leadership positions are confronted with. The 3 actors all perform with emotional intensity that is really captivating to watch.
