Paul M Louis de Funes is the type of actor who can carry any film. His antics and mannerisms are easily recognizable and loved. "The Restaurant of Monsieur Septim" is included in the list of the best films with De Funes. And for good reason. All the ingredients of a great actor are collected here. Here is a simple plot, which will later be diluted with tricks no worse than in James Bond films. There are different types of humor here. This is dialogue, and buffoonery, and a comedy of situations. Monsieur Septim will be subjected to various tests, ranging from problems with the restaurant to a political conspiracy. But he will always find a way out of the situation. De Funes' characters are an example of how to always keep yourself in hand and not lose heart. I would like to separately note the tricks in this film. They are original and funny. There's a twist at the end, perhaps predictable, but in its genre it looks very fresh. If you like De Funes and somehow missed this movie, then you should definitely watch it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/25 Full Review Audience Member R.I.P Louis de Funès. He was one of the funniest dwarf I enjoyed on TV. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Jeg gætter pÃ¥ at "Haløj pÃ¥ badehotellet" har taget inspiration fra denne film. "Hr. Müller", er enig!. Blandet med lidt James Bond. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Bien. Un classique du cinéma francais Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Se laisse regarder, sans plus. Seule la premiere demi-heure est reellement interessante, le reste etant d'un ennui certain. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Muskat nuss... Muskat nuss herr Müller!!
