Reinhard W Jul 9 Well... he proofed it AGAIN! Was my first thought, after watching THIS one. To DESCRIBE Frank's method of acting... could be easy... on first impression. But... there is MUCH MORE. Specially in times, where (sadly) good work CAN disappear like fog. Masses of Pixels... of what once was real "CELLULOID ART" ....quick assembled Flix "for the Masses" RULE, and... GOOD individual Actorwork can be easily overseen. I know, I KNOW… the last lines sound pathetic, but: As a 70 years old german, who grew up with Mister Hitchcock... i have my troubles to stay ON TOPIC. Therefore: I follow Mister Grillo and his work scince (kinda) 20 years. And whatever he DID, gave me one clear thought: "The Man does ONLY Movies... he wants to SEE HIMSELF… as a Moviegoer!" Beside of this Impression... in one LINE? Hollywood misses SUCH Actors DEELPY… and IF it stands in front of em… they're too blind TO SEE! Frank Grillo CAN DELIVER. Deliver… what ever Character he choosed TO BE for a while! Once... they called this "Method Acting", But what Mister Grillo ALLWAYS tries/DOES is: Becoming THAT Character... to give the Audience... AUTHENTICITY. A thing that's RARE today. FRANK GRILLO… IS AUTHENTICITY Thanks for your patience! EDIT! Sorry, but beside Mister Grillo… i simply forgot to mention what a GREAT THRILLER "Wheelman" overall IS! The one you dare not go to the toilett! 😉 I guess the Term "Thriller", when it was created... had Works like "WHEELMAN" in mind. 5 Stars WELL deserved!!! See more Andy B Mar 6 I can't express how great this thriller is without just showing you the whole movie. It is the rarest Netflix gem. If you ever doubted the minimalist approach to filmmaking, Wheelman is your challenge. I'm still amazed what they did with just a few cameras, an old BMW 330 and some prop guns.
