Audience Member the best part for me was the acting. I love Takashi, played by Will Yun Lee. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member "Where the Road Meets the Sun" is earnest but inorganic, trying hard but uninvolving, with little to actually say about the big, mixed-up intersection of crazy and unbelievable that is Los Angeles at its best. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Love it - go watch it ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Fabulous storyline, actors and cinematography. The actors each brought something interesting about the character to the screen. I like the way "Where The Road Meets The Sun" showcases Los Angeles and parts of LA where many would never have a chance to go to. Director Yong Mun Chee has a very keen eye at capturing the many intriguing moments. Bravo! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie! I def thought it was amazing and the actors were phenomenal!! I had heard so many great things about it and to finally see it and to live up to my expectations was happiness all around! Mark Olsen Los Angeles Times "Where the Road Meets the Sun" is earnest but inorganic, trying hard but uninvolving, with little to actually say about the big, mixed-up intersection of crazy and unbelievable that is Los Angeles at its best. Rated: 2.5/5 Jul 29, 2011 Full Review Daniel M. Gold New York Times This movie serves best as a tutorial on what happens when the genre is botched: It fails to deliver a single story worth caring about. Rated: 1/5 Jul 28, 2011 Full Review Brent Simon Shockya.com A sprawling, somewhat self-consciously multi-ethnic drama of struggling immigrants that, despite some relaxed performances, repeatedly identifies plausibility as an enemy, and never locates a truly compelling through-line.
