Jonita Davis The Black Cape (Medium) 'Who Are You People' offers a classic and sometimes predictable story of a black sheep of a family who is only reacting to her family’s lack of communication. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 14, 2023 Full Review Sandie Angulo Chen Common Sense Media This isn't a typical teen drama centering on an unrequited or blossoming romance, a conflicted circle of friends, or a dramatic/bullying situation at school. Alex is lonely and feels like the odd person out of her otherwise perfect family. Rated: 3/5 Mar 7, 2023 Full Review Josh Bell Crooked Marquee Writer-director Ben Epstein never quite balances the jarring tonal shifts of his coming-of-age drama. Rated: C Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Alan Ng Film Threat [Ben] Epstein’s plot is compelling, and his character development is brilliant. Rated: 8.5/10 Feb 22, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Robert Q This was a surprisingly great film. I'm a person who usually likes a movie or TV series to end with closure for the characters, but in this case, it felt right to leave the ending with the character's future uncertain. The acting from newcomer(at least to me) Ema Horvath to Devon Sawa & TV veteran Alyssa Milano was spot on. There were many scenes that could have come across as corny or soapy with different actors. Still, each actor gave those scenes sincerity, which added realism to each character's complicated relationships with each other. I also appreciated how all the characters were multi-dimensional. They are all flawed people, whether it be Alex or her parents, who are still trying to find their way in the world. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/06/23 Full Review Zack H Poor pacing and writing, but had some good prices. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
