      Audience Member Echo Of Murder AKA Who Killed Atlanta's Children?, Is A TV Movie Crime Drama Based On The True Story Of Reporter's In 1986, Attempting To Solve The Murder's Of 20-Something Black Children In Atlanta. In 1981, Atlanta Was Terrorized By Brutal Atlanta Child Murders. A Lone Man Was Convicted & The Case Was Closed. Four Years Later Two Reporters Start An Investigation & Find Out That The Original Police Investigation Was Marred By Incompetence, Abandoned Leads & Tainted Evidence. A Well-Made TV Movie Which Stars James Belushi & Gregory Hines As The Magazine Reproters, Desperate To Find Out The Truth. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review bill s Great movie. The publisher and a report of Spin magazine head to Atlanta 5 years after Wayne Williams was convicted of the Atlanta Child Murders. But everything they find points to ineptitude and a cover up. It is based on the true story of two reporters, from Spin magazine, who try to find out what happened to more than 30 black kids. A black man was put away for the murders but subsequent investigation shows that the KKK may have had something to do with the killings. Interesting story.
