Audience Member So dull I fell asleep. Not worthy of a documentary. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one hella fun documentary. Funny, educational and though-provoking. The cast of characters are perfect, the situation is interesting and the outcome is unpredictable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member An old woman goes into a thrift store to find a depressed friend a silly looking picture. Something so ugly they both would have to laugh. She found the ugly painting and paid $5 for it. Turned out to be a Jackson Pollack painting worth over 50 million dollars!!! This is her story. Beautifully done!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Theres a couple docs i have seen before this that expose a large part of the BS that goes on in the art world. Basically art has value if someone else says it does. There is an intresting myster and culture conflict going on in this film on top of that. You get to meet one of the douchyest real human beings i have ever seen on film, if this guy was an actor it would be way to unbelievable hes so over the top. the final message is now one really knows cause its all nonsense anyway. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Definitely an interesting story, just the editing and the styling could have been better , more sophisticated. Apart from that - a curious film. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Documentary throws the unjustifiable biases of the art world into harsh relief. Rent it.
