Griffen Dunne really put in a excellent straight man performance. I don't know how much work went into the scenes with Murray the cat, but they are hilarious. I think her outfits were a little bit nuts and if she had better chemistry with the lead, I think the movie would’ve done better. They should’ve had her and some of the other actors dial back a little bit on the overacting. But there were a lot of other 80s movies that were a lot worse with the overacting in them. Overall I enjoyed the movie. Madonna always received negative reviews from her movies and critics. But Who’s That Girl wasn’t that bad. Definitely has a cult following now. A fun watch.
