Orin M I don't know why this movie gets so much hate, I LOVE IT! It's silly, campy and the acting isn't as bad as the haters make it out to be. I own it on DVD & digital, and I still break it out from time to time. 2 thumbs up! 👍🏿👍🏿 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/15/24 Full Review Cees T 5/10 - Needs more mutated kangaroos. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/24 Full Review Shane J This movie is pure camp and I love it. Madonna is hilarious as Nikki Finn, and Griffin Dunne is great as Louden. It's like a comic book come to life. Many quotable lines. "I had her in my cab once" lol Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/31/23 Full Review KatMan B This was a really great movie! Madonna getting her groove early on in her career. The movie is witty, funny, and doesn't try to be more than it is. It's a good watch and a sign Madonna is a good actress when going with the flow. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/27/23 Full Review Steve D Interesting idea horrible script. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Justin W While it's not a great movie, it's better than I remembered. I just rewatched it for the first time since I was a kid, and really Madonna isn't THAT bad. She is basically playing Bugs Bunny in this movie. In fact the whole film plays out like a Bugs Bunny cartoon. So it really isn't terrible and is kinda cute. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/29/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Derek Malcolm Guardian It isn't all bad, but most of it is. Apr 21, 2022 Full Review Victoria Mather Daily Telegraph (UK) This is supposedly a romantic comedy, however in this film it is the romance that is sick-making and the comedy just isn't there. Apr 21, 2022 Full Review Jason Bailey Flavorwire 'Who's That Girl' is so eager to please, it ends up being a very hard movie to hate. Sure, it's formulaic and overcooked, but it's ultimately a pretty typical '80s comedy, no better or worse than average. Aug 12, 2017 Full Review Joe Leydon The Moving Picture Show Madonna is that girl who’s the driving force behind this screwball farce. The comedy is a well-tuned star vehicle, and Madonna, the peroxided punk sprite of pop music, revs it up for a wild ride. May 7, 2022 Full Review Philip French Observer (UK) Poor timing, overacting and weak plotting combine to stifle such laughter as threatens to erupt. Apr 21, 2022 Full Review Juan Carlos Coto South Florida Sun-Sentinel Before Foley loses the film to insipid humor and excessive physical comedy -- in a rambunctious wedding fiasco at the film's close -- he is nevertheless successful at creating minor characters that are undeniably appealing.
