Poor Franco. Once again dipped into a plot way over his pretty blonde head. As the arrogant film maker who made a movie fictionalizing his verison of corruption in the Prosecutor/Judge's offices, he comes off as an unlikable dolt. His superstardom takes on a new dimension once the real judge the movie was loosely based on is found gunned down in his car. Oh the mystery. Had this picture been smarter it would not have included the scenes where Nero whisks Fabin around having her see first hand the evidence against her dead husband, and it would have been a bigger indictment on the political agenda and self-aggrandizing nature of artists. Instead, it tumbles over itself and ultimately has a "Okay, I guess that's the killer, ending."
