Audience Member This is a very misunderstood masterpiece of the indie genre! "Wicked Spring" is by far the most realistic and emotional Civil War film in existence. The cast and crew did an absolutely fantastic job with such a low budget (500,000 dollars) and the performance of the actors truly carries the film. I cried at the conclusion - I do not cry during films. The pacing was nice and the battle scenes for a small movie were excellent and full of detail. Interesting plot and metaphors for involving the fog of war magnified by the time, place and the fact that it was the U.S. Civil War. I recommend this for anyone interested in this period of American history.
