Kandy A Oct 4 What a terrible movie. Terrible wooden acting from Robert Duvall and Luciana Pedraza as the female Texas Ranger had no credibility. I felt sorry for Josh Hartnett and James Franco as they did a good job despite a very weak story line with other weak members of the cast. A massive yawn. See more 05/17/2022 Most of the acting was ok... its not the type of movie that requires truly dramatic acting (though maybe thats what it needed). The main problem is the lack of a main story arc, and a jumble of several internal arcs that were simply incoherent. It's just one of those movies that doesn't really do anything... no tugging on heart strings... no suspension of disbelief... no wrapping you up in the protagonist... no clear antagonist... Robert introduced so many plot lines and characters that he would've been better off writing a 10 episode tv series than a crammed up 1 hour and 48 minute movie.
