The producers reap their comedy product and Caravello collects his 15-plus minutes of fame as star of this endearingly goofy mock doc. Go to Full Review

While the film was funny at times, it was horribly boring at others. I sat patiently awaiting the ending that I thought would be coming. Read more at Film School Rejects: https://filmschoolrejects.com/dvd-windy-city-heat/#ixzz4uTrHnKdt Go to Full Review

With such absurdity abounding, it's hard to gauge who should be insulted more: the audience or Perry. Go to Full Review

It's all worth a watch. In an age where "reality" comedy is coming to the forefront with Jackass and Borat, Windy City Heat is a worthy brother in the genre. Go to Full Review

Leave it to the minds behind Comedy Central's Crank Yankers to pull this off. What's unbelievable is that they have reportedly been pulling pranks on poor Perry for many, many years. Go to Full Review

Windy City is either incredibly cruel or incredibly pointless; either way, it's immature, repetitive and unfunny. Go to Full Review

07/13/2022 This movie is a whole movement of hilarity. It still has a mass following and a new generation are discovering it. See more 12/28/2021 This is the greatest movie that's ever been made or ever will be made. See more Ari V 10/05/2021 Laughed a couple of times, but through in the towel half way through or so. Just not my kind of funny. See more 12/11/2019 underrated and hilarious See more 11/08/2019 Must see cult classic no comdey act ever stood so takk See more Paul S 09/21/2019 I should have known that "critics" wouldn't get this. My cousin suggested this movie to me about 15 years ago telling me that it was "one of the funniest movies" he'd ever seen, and boy was he right. Today I watched it again after well over 10 years. It was so worth it because I had forgotten about some of the best parts. I can honestly tell you that this is HILARIOUS. Perry is priceless! He is a lovable and gullible ham. The short summary is that Perry was made to believe that he was cast in a movie called "Windy City Heat" and that he will be the next Robert DeNiro type movie star. Everyone else in the movie besides him is in on the joke. I think the imagination that went into this was absolutely amazing. There are a few parts that had me burst outloud laughing so fast and hard that I was literally in tears. It was the kind of uncontrollable laughter that has me thinking I could have a seizure or heart attack. Of course, this sort of thing has to be your cup of tea. This might not be for some because of the harsh language and dirty scenarios, but I'd pay 10 dollars or more a day to know I'd get these kinds of guaranteed hard laughs. 5 stars all the way. It's a MASTERPIECE COMEDY! Don Barris was fantastic, as were many others. See more Read all reviews
