Steve D Kaycentric and lots of fun Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/17/24 Full Review Audience Member 1939 is considered the most classic year for great cinema. Unfortunately, it had its share of dogs as well. This is one of them. A woman joins an aviation contest in order to win money to help her handicapped brother. A rivalry is born between her and another flyer. The only thing worthwhile is some aero shots. The plot and acting are all dismissive to say the least. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Audience Member just like the other WB flyer pix ;like Cagney on the bride came COD Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Strictly B stuff with Kay sliding fast down the Hollywood ladder. You know it's bad when the essence of sophistication and elegance is dressed in clothes straight off the rack that don't even look fit for housework. Gargan gives his customary bland performance and Eve Arden while never dull is wasted in a throwaway part. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
