Audience Member Not bad . Not great 2.5 Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/20 Full Review Audience Member Oof...did I see the same movies as these critics? If this had been a film about heteros instead of lesbians I don't think it would have seen the light of day. Wickedly funny? No...no it wasn't. I sat there thinking "Wait, THIS was in the "Comedies" listing?" The story implausible, the acting leaden...I mean, I found nothing to like about this movie..well, let me think...something positive...nope. I got nothing. BTW, I find it bemusing that everywhere I look Annette O'Toole's name is prominently listed; this despite her screentime being about five minutes. I guess when you're the only actor with a "name"... Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member quite good but a bad ending, talk about an anti climax. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/09/18 Full Review Audience Member Dialogues are very funny Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member The most hipster movie I've seen this year. The dialogues are cliché, safe humor, kinda of grey politically correct humor, the plot is easy to figure out at half the movie. The only new here is they used a lot of dykes for the parts. But what bothers me most is the politically correct of the movie, pretends to be dark or thriller but is just weak and boring, just like a hipster who is interested in serial killers, he just do it for been labeled as the weirdo... but is just a safe weirdo. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review troy k Interesting enough that I didn't turn it off, but that's not really a good thing. Kimber Myers Los Angeles Times It takes a familiar theme of romantic comedies - the fear of commitment - and gives it new life by adding a morbid element to the mix. Aug 17, 2017 Full Review Ken Jaworowski New York Times The humor is dry and the acting deadpan in "Women Who Kill," a comedy that plays it droll and is all the funnier for it. Jul 25, 2017 Full Review Sheri Linden Hollywood Reporter New-relationship anxiety escalates to dark suspicion -- or is it unhinged paranoia? -- in Ingrid Jungermann's nimble horror-tinged comedy Women Who Kill. Jul 24, 2017 Full Review Jason Adams The Film Experience The laughs are steady and smart and nigh on rollicking at times Jul 6, 2021 Full Review Steven Prokopy Third Coast Review Women Who Kill is a charming, layered work that makes me want to see these characters in another film or television series right away. Seek this one out. May 14, 2020 Full Review Joni Blyth One Room With A View A killer cast and smashing first-time directing from Ingird Jungermann elevates Women Who Kill beyond hipster overkill and towards something much more interesting. This macabre horror-comedy will follow you all the way home. Rated: 4/5 Mar 14, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
