Antonia Quirke Financial Times Has a nicely botched, home-movie feel, although its express amateurishness will drive you nuts. Rated: 2/5 Jun 24, 2011 Full Review Anthony Quinn Independent (UK) Rated: 1/5 Jun 24, 2011 Full Review Phelim O'Neill Guardian The can-do spirit results in one or two scenes where it all comes together, and make this perhaps a notch or two up from actually reading a diary written by a zombie. Rated: 2/5 Jun 23, 2011 Full Review Anton Bitel Eye for Film It is hard to escape the impression that, much like its relentlessly shuffling denizens, World Of The Dead is itself just going through the motions with a dead-eyed perfunctoriness. Aug 3, 2011 Full Review Christopher Tookey Daily Mail (UK) The world's most tedious zombie movie... Rated: 0/5 Jun 23, 2011 Full Review David Edwards Daily Mirror (UK) Once, just once, wouldn't it be great to see a zombie film that doesn't have the undead shuffling around threatening the end of the world. Maybe a film where they sit around drinking tea and figuring out ways of getting along with the living. Rated: 2/5 Jun 23, 2011 Full Review Read all reviews

Fleegle B I did not really like this movie honestly, I hated that there was r*pe scenes and the fact it's a found footage movie ruined it too Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Audience Member Il problema principale di questo zombie movie è la scelta di utilizzare il found footage, confusionario a livello altissimi e che causa diversi impedimenti. I personaggi non vengono presentati con la giusta calma ed attenzione, le scene di azione sono incomprensibili per la maggior parte. Peccato perchè l'idea dello zombie movie itinerante è sempre intrigante e lascia aperti ampi spazi; seppure nella trama ci siano parecchie falle. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I honestly don't understand why people hate on this movie so much - Yes, like the first it does use misleading cover-art to make it look like a big zombie survival/action movie, when it's really just a found-footage movie, but this is much better than the first Zombie Diaries movie, and if we're being honest, way better than Diary of the Dead as well. It does fall into a lot of the same trappings of the genre and the first film, but there are 3 things that make this movie a vast improvement over the first. 1) The heroes are actually moving toward a specific goal, rather than just "Let's find someplace safe." 2) There is no "humans are the worse monster" nonsense that made the ending of the first Zombie Diaries so infuriating. And 3) The movie uses a neat idea of making it appear as if the bulk of the movie is new footage recorded over old footage, and the old footage occasionally appears for brief moments, and these bits in themselves tell an increasingly dark and foreboding story, all without words or even sound. Additionally, while the movie's ending isn't as good as I was hoping, it's a lot more narratively sound than most movies like this tend to be, and years later I still sometimes think about the end twist of this movie, as it was genuinely effective in how it was done. I was a mild defender of the original Zombie Diaries but this is a much better movie in regards to plot, narrative flow and doesn't fabricate an aggravating ending just in hopes of making it "memorable". I can't call it a great movie, as it's still a movie about people running from zombies in first-person, and the fact that we follow Soldiers with guns yet almost never get to see them lay waste to a horde of zombies from time to time, which frankly seems like a missed opportunity. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member defend your life with a psychopath. This film really makes my heart work out. The scene is very scary and there is no censorship at all, it makes my feet feel cold when watching this film... This film is not worth watching with small children or teenagers... only specially for adults who have strong mentality and steel. 10 stars for this film. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review kevin c Another quickly forgotten entry into the handheld zombie apocalypse genre that has become way overcrowded with unoriginal crap. This one is middle of the pack as a military team try to make their way to a rendezvous point through the countryside overrun by the undead...and a group of creepy rape-y guys, who also get in their way. Not the word I've seen, but nothing that will stick with you. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Utter garbage. Needlessly boring, needlessly mean spirited. Incompetent all around, with an inappropriate obsession with rape. SKIP Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
