Pondering what all this means in terms of contemporary concepts of masculinity is much more interesting than the film itself, which feels very much like something lifted wholesale from video game culture. Go to Full Review

Derivative and forgettable, Worldbreaker is ultimately too repetitive with its weak plot about a father and his teenage daughter trying to survive in a post-apocalyptic world populated by zombie-like creatures. The visual effects are mediocre. Go to Full Review

Some decent acting and cinematography give the film a veneer of respectability, but at heart this is sheer B-movie bobbins. Go to Full Review

On the surface, Worldbreaker is a mediocre creature feature, but just beneath that surface is a vibrant metaphor, waiting for adults to pick it up and point it out. Go to Full Review

Mr Hollywood Feb 9 Ridiculous. Most of the movie we are on an island with the two characters. Once it starts to be exciting it’s over. Ridiculous See more Rob Feb 4 Good sci fi fantasy film. Irish film. Cool monsters but they aren’t shown that much. More drama than action. See more C J @CelebHarmez 1d Oh man yet another shocker that burned it's potential to the ground. Billie Boullet dials in another annoying performance, not helped at all by the frustrating writing and abysmal character development. The film follows the current typical tropes: characters making a string of ridiculous, selfish and idiotic decisions that lead to terrible consequences for all involved. There is absolutely ZERO believability that Willa could hold her own against the breakers—she is displayed no athleticism or fighting skills that come close to being immersive or make you think "wow she can totally kick ass". Milla J is used for about 1% of the movie. There is so little action with the monsters that you largely forget about them. Even the ending is the most anti-climactic POS I've seen in a long time (and there have been some shockers lately). Go do something else with your time and thank me later. See more C N @TheCount1234Whatwver 4d Seriously slow. The girl utterly useless and a PitA even though her Dad, who acted superbly, keeps saying how great she is. Script horribly repetitive and action terribly telegraphed. Film had a great premise but utterly missed its opportunities. Ending was pathetic. First time director??. Fail. See more Sharon D @Snow99 6d The MC is so so so so so so annoying… The angles, the storyline, the plot were shallow / bad… The concept was interesting but everything failed it… The only thing I liked about this movie was the acting of the person playing the dad. Do not watch this. See more Lou M @Zipperella May 10 Pretty bloody average to be honest. It’s like a movie where the backstory is the whole story, so you never get to the good bit.
