tim m There are many independent films that start with a genre and the filmmakers think that it's enough to make a good film. Worth, on the other hand, not only plays within the genre of a boxing movie but also gets into the heart of what is happening with the characters. This film trusts that you've seen a million boxing movies and so as much as there are sequences with training and Muay Thai matches, it really comes down to the relationships of the people around Ricky, the protagonist, and having to work within his limitations as a fighter and how that affects the people around him.
