Audience Member Tragic and personal :( Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A wildly mixed movie with some good moments but is held back by poor acting and a lack of visual flair. One particularly powerful moment shines through and the movie takes a bit of a heavy handed view on PTSD but does get its point across. Laboured by original Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member An engaging and thought provoking insight into the coming to terms with the events on 9/11. The transition from stage to screen - while apparent, has been done well and the claustrophobic feel of the apartment adds to the overall effect of the film. Micheal Urie puts in s good performance as the troubled Eric and it is refreshing to see a gay character without the whole character being hinged on the fact. Overall an excellent, thought-provoking film. If you want to see more films like this, i recommend Quod.tv. The home of LGBT films on demand Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member kinda boring at times. and really sad and depressing. i only watched this cause it had the guy from ugly betty in it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Awkwardly hybrid. Attempted to merge the post-911 shocks & emotions into the fictional story but turns out to be partly serious, partly comical & uncomfortable. Michael Urie's sometimes solid, sometimes over the top acting reinforces it even further. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Should never have made the transfer to film. Too claustrophobic, too tepid, too boring for the screen. Urie is competent in the role, but almost everyone else is too theatrical, over-the-top, and just plan bad. Maybe I just didn't understand it, but the central character seems too paranoid to be believed, and the film suffers for this reason. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
