Steve D A bit slow but the acting keeps it engaging. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/20/23 Full Review Martin B Seems to have relevance to what we are experiencing these days. Seeing Newman as a cynical, pseudo intellectual that gave up on his values was interesting. Joanne Woodward, not her best work but OK. Otherwise it was terribly depressing so my recommendation is to take a pass on this one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/11/22 Full Review william s It has Woodward and Newman and that dynamic was good but that's about it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member good political drama Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This film's only merits are capturing late 60's New Orleans and watching Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. The film itself is heavy-handed and dated. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Whunh...? Too obtuse for me! I kept waiting for somebody to say something that didn't seem like a non-sequitur, but it didn't happen. One of the characters spends a lot of the movie asking, "What the hell is going on here?" and I shared his frustration. I knew I was in trouble when I saw at the beginning that it was based on a book called A Hall of Mirrors. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Alberto Abuín Espinof Rosenberg... in his second collaboration with the most famous blue-eyed actor in film history, has rarely been so inspired. [Full Review in Spanish] May 14, 2020 Full Review Emanuel Levy EmanuelLevy.Com It's too bad that the execution of this Paul Newman starring film is so poor for it raises some interesting social and political issues Rated: C May 31, 2011 Full Review Philip Martin Arkansas Democrat-Gazette ...serves as a nostalgia-inducing oddity, a kind of scrapbook of American sensibility at the end of the 1960s, a time when there really were people ... who believed we were on the brink of revolution Rated: 83/100 Mar 4, 2011 Full Review Sean Axmaker Parallax View ... the film hammers home its politics with blunt force yet leaves the conspiracy drama vague, more symbolic gesture of outrage than convincing plot.
