08/31/2017 Okay, this one is a real mixed bag, with two friends going on a village vacation to let one of them try to get over a recent break-up, then the villagers turn on them and start trying to kill them in strange ritual sacrifice! There's some interesting visuals and freaky scenes in there, but overall it gets a bit muddled and somehow overstays its welcome even at the fairly short 90 minute running time. Rental? I did like Reika - it's not every homacidal manic who can pull off a sweet lolita ensemble. Overall it's entertaining and worth a rent if you're into this kind of film, or like others like Yo-Yo Girl Cop and Tokyo Gore Police.
