Jodi Walker The Ringer The absolute funniest part of this frequently unintentionally funny movie is that in attempting to make a more modern movie about social media, and calling it #Xmas, Hallmark has made a movie that is almost impossible to search for... Dec 17, 2022 Full Review Brett White Decider I can’t praise this ensemble and the inventiveness of these character arcs — specifically for a Hallmark movie — enough. Simoné T The main character was too much, trying too hard to be "quirky" with over-the-top facial expressions, reactions, and speech manners. Yet in scenes she was supposed to be sad or crying (from the memories of her deceased father), it was hard to believe: she sniffles or seems sad for a split second, and then it just disappears . I don't know if it all was the actor's choice or the way the script was written, but either way it was a difficult watch. The other characters were good and well-rounded enough for your typical christmas movies. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Kyle U Fun holiday movie. Definitely good by Christmas movie standards. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review r 9 I guess it merits praise for not being as bad as it could've been. Given the obvious, I was not expecting '#Xmas' to pack any sort of punch - that title is an immediate red flag. Though, to be fair, it's actually an averagely fine festive flick for television. I will say that I did enjoy Clare Bowen in the lead role, nothing special granted but she's likeable. Brant Daugherty leads the rest of the cast OK, Lillian Doucet-Roche and Sebastian Stewart are alright too - even if their supposedly split relationship was a tad too one-sided against Doucet-Roche's character in my opinion. Overall, I think the film is just a little bit too forgettable - like, I don't dislike it but what really actually happens? Nothing memorable, unfortunately. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Michi I Ok, this movie by far was one of my absolute favorites this season. The storyline was great, and the cast was superb! The story flowed well, the antics of the characters were both believable, but still "Holiday Movie" over the top as one expects from this genre. For those people that are fans of this genre you won't be disappointed, the disappointment comes only when you are not able to see it again until it is added to Hallmark Now or to the Hallmark live channel rotation.
