One night at a party, Coles (Mark Ruffalo) meets college roommates Sam (Maya Stange) and Thea (Kathleen Robertson), and the three of them have a wild sexual encounter. I was saddened to find this is the only movie Austin Chick has directed and written so far.If and when his next one comes out,I will see it.I was definitely frustrated to some degree at certain points in this movie,but I was drawn more and more in physiologically to the characters feeling that by the end the final scene just blew me away.Mark Ruffalo is fun to watch on screen.So for this being one good indie film I give "XX/XY" a C.
