Anton Bitel Little White Lies while Samurai Zombie does not fail to deliver on any of the expectations that it initially raises, it realises them in a way that is full of subversive surprise. Jul 28, 2010 Full Review James Mudge easternKicks.com What it lacks in craziness or perverse excess, it makes up for with solid handling and by avoiding many genre pitfalls, Sakaguchi and Kitamura combing to entertaining effect Rated: 4/5 Oct 21, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member B-Movie mixing japanese folklore and Romero, in debt with Kitamura works. Perhaps nothing to lose the head for, but it delivers fun with strong slashes of katana and a solid ending twist. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member What the fuck????? This film makes no sense at all. None. There are samurai zombies wandering about while some total assholes act like total assholes and seem oblivious to bullets. I reall do not know what was going on in this movie Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched this film because of its title, and expected it to be zombies doing martial arts. It wasn't, and I actually don't know what it was about, but it gets an extra star because of all the heads on stakes at the end Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member a gore with litres of blood , zombies, and samurais, what do u wan't :=) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member It's alright I was expecting more from Tak especially how awesome Deathtrance was. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member A family driving on vacation are taken hostage by a gun totting couple when the tire blows leaving them stranded in the middle of nowhere. Dad goes to get another car, comes upon an ancient burial ground, cuts off his own head (which is truly the best 'what the fuck?' moments of the film) & resurrects the Samurai Zombie. If this was smart that is how they should play this; as a Samurai Zombie movie but they twist it @ the end which left a soar taste in my mouth & almost ruined the fun I had had on occasion earlier. I'll give you one thing that kid's cry is heartbreaking. I watched it w/ subs so I don't know if it has the same effect if you watch it dubbed but it almost made me cry. Not about what he was crying about but just his performance & I usually hate children in movies Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Read all reviews
