Han L The film was an excellent portrayal of the 'right person wrong time' trope, encapsulating the first love between Shen Chia-Yi and Ko Ching-Teng. Their arc throughout the movie, starting as the smartest student and class clown, their relationship begins and stays completely platonic, with Shen Chia-Yi even rejecting him in the film, although their feelings for each other are clear. It portrayed the situationship splendidly, showing their ups and downs, their eventual 'breakup', and their reconnection, later learning to accept their seperate paths and love lives. I watched this movie on the plane and was tearing up by the end of it, due to the actors excellent chemistry. Although, the story of 'all the boys liking Shen Chia-Yi' is only within Ko Ching-Teng's friend group, rather then everyone else, which keeps this wonderful film fron being 5 stars.
