A clumsy, overly stylized would-be satire.

Peter Debruge Miami Herald It's certainly no surprise that the best apology Timofei can manage for the heartbroken Vera involves repeating lines from a bad television soap opera. Rated: 2/4 May 6, 2005 Full Review Ruthe Stein San Francisco Chronicle The fault lies in an anemic script and misguided attempts by co-directors Olga Stolpovskaya and Dmitry Troitsky to seem hip by using lots of quick cuts. Rated: 2.5/4 Apr 1, 2005 Full Review Mario Tarradell Dallas Morning News The film comes off as little more than a shock-value exercise. Rated: C Mar 24, 2005 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Out Magazine Charming, playful, and totally irresistible. May 17, 2022 Full Review Dave White The Advocate You I Love is worth a look. It's a chance to watch the first steps of gay Russian filmmaking. Hopefully, there'll be more -- and more assured ones -- to come. Audience Member A gay-positive movie from Russia? Who would have thought it, and it's actually really good. The characters each battle their own demons in different ways, and it is really enjoyable. I highly recommend it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Primeiro filme russo a abordar a homossexualidade e bissexualidade... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member You I Love, ou no original, Ya Lyublu Tebya, é um filme gay russo. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member why do all the gay themed movie have to have covers like that? seems like a porno or something. shame. not that the film doesn't have sex but COME ON, there's much more in it. it's wonderful <3 Uloomji <3 <3 he's the Love <3 i liked how he sang in the beginning and all the jumps and things he made. sweet sweet lovestoryyyy Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Easily the best bisexual russian romantic comedy I've seen this year. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This is something that I actually didn't expect from Russians. First thing to say: great plot! Simple life of a man who survived complete makeover after simple car accident and a boy who just like that walked into his life and just stayed there. It's lovely and romantic story about love, a kind of love that you don't see really often. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews
