"Your Friend" uses observational humour, has no interest in culture wars, and is about clean as a contemporary comedian can be in 2024 -- it’s also consistently funny. Expect a slew of imitators in the next few years. Go to Full Review

A big part of Bargatze’s act is playing dumb, but you have to be quite shrewd and clever to craft as winning a comedy career as he has over the past decade. You’d be the dummy if you bet against him. Go to Full Review

Michael D Sep 14 Big fan of his but this was just not it. I kept waiting for it to get going and be funny and then it finally ended See more Jeremy E Aug 30 Nate is like a struggling insecure random standup act at a bar. His jokes are like a drunk talking your ear off at a bar with long pauses between one-line sentences. The one time I kinda laughed was with the "put your trash in your pockets" because that was the most out-of-pocket thing the said, and the other 2 times felt forced out of pitty. Don't understand how this is an emmy nominee. 5/5 do not recommend See more Jonathan K Apr 13 The good jokes are very good; classic nate. The filler is completely unfunny. See more matthias s @Thescreenasvor Mar 11 **Review of Nate Bargatze’s Latest Special – 3.5 Stars** Nate Bargatze is back, and while it’s not his best work, it’s still classic Nate — and that’s a good thing. His storytelling is so smooth, you almost forget how carefully crafted it all is. He pulls you in story by story, delivering punchlines with that signature deadpan charm. His knack for finding comedy in the mundane is unmatched; it’s like he’s showing you the humor you’ve missed in everyday life. This special feels a little more laid-back than his last one — not quite as tight — but Nate’s ability to work a room without relying on shock value or politics is refreshing. He proves once again that you don’t need to be edgy to be funny — just clever and relatable. While I still prefer his previous show, this one had me laughing consistently. Nate’s in his element, and even when he’s not at his peak, he’s still better than most. See more Mohamed E Feb 20 Hilarious! I loved every joke and his delivery is amazing. Just wholesome and witty comedy See more Yash B Jan 22 This was my second Nate Bargatze special that I have watched, so I am relatively new to his standup. I do think he has a unique delivery that is fun and light to watch. I also think it is impressive how he keeps his set so clean and family-friendly yet also full of genuine laughs, even if not all of his jokes are all that relatable to me personally. Overall, this is a pretty good special that is easy to watch and left me in a happy and pleasant mood afterward. See more Read all reviews
