There’s nothing revolutionary happening in You’re Cordially Invited, but by feeling like something Dan Ackroyd and Goldie Hawn might’ve starred in in 1987, it brings back a welcome large scale frivolity to the mainstream comedy movie. More please.

I’m sure there are plenty ways you can pick this movie apart.. It’s easier to sit back and enjoy some laughs from will Ferrell. Also, completely underestimated the chemistry between Reese & Will.

There were a few funny moments, but if you’re looking for old school Will Ferrell funny, this movie is not it. Most of the movie is cheesy references to current events and current trends and how a 50 something year old dad navigates them. All in all, just ok.

you are cordially invited is a type of movie that you can watch one time and not more than that. It is a very predictable story and have some dialogues that are trying to be perfect, but still there were few jokes or dialogues that I liked very much, though cast was great. I couldn’t enjoy as I thought it was forced . Concept was nice, but movie could have been much better.
