James Mansfield Little White Lies Redemption and comeuppance are divided accordingly in a bullet-riddled finale, thankfully polishing off enough of the cast to signal an end to this wreck of a film. Rated: 1/5 Jan 27, 2011 Full Review Anton Bitel Film4 The story is hardly new, and some of the dialogue is on the clunky side - but by marrying a vividly energetic aesthetic to all the unflinching bleakness, Sam Holland has crafted an arresting calling card. Jan 28, 2011 Full Review Matt Glasby Total Film As a film it's powerful if flawed; as a calling card it's extremely impressive; and as a state-of-the-nation snapshot it's, frankly, terrifying. Audience Member Another depressing dose of life on Britain's sink estates. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Another example that young British actors are top-flight. Gritty, shot in black and white (my suspicion is red filter as well), must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Wonderfully shot and edgy teen drama. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member It has a few intense scenes of notes but on the whole this feels like a very forced gritty urban drama. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member an unpleasant and disturbing film of thugs living in London, violence, drugs and crime and the sad life it brings. Why do people become so full of hatred? this goes on in life every day unfortunately. A good movie, strangely all filmed in black and white Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member The style is "nil by mouth" but the delivery is Hollyoaks in this teenage pantomime.
