The movie tricks and fishes adult viewers in by featuring cinema legends Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase. The movie starts to have creepy aesthetic and a unique take with soul sucking zombies to avoid any sort of gore, which I understand since it’s catering to a younger audience. However the dialogue, cheesiness and campiness fails to capture the attention of both young and old alike. I found myself consistently checking my watch, waiting for the movie to end.

This movie was brimming with talent...but none was on display. The acting was wooden and zombie-like, even for the non-zombies. I found myself laughing AT the scenes rather than laughing FROM the scenes. I don't ever need to see this again. The two good things were there wasn't a ridiculous amount of cursing or sex to further mess up this disaster, and seeing some of my favorite Kids in the Hall actors.

One of the worst movies i've every watched. Boring and stupid, i cant quite understand why does it exists and what's the point of this movie. The "comedy" tag needs to be removed from this movie IMMEDIATELY. 1/10 for me.

What a joy to find Chevy Chase, Dan Aykroyd, Henry Czerny, Bruce McCulloch, and Scott Thompson together! Positive notes for kids, and warns us to stay out of Egyptian burial chambers in small-town Canada. Stay to the very last post-credits moment.

An endearing and entertaining love letter to horror fans young and old, "Zombie Town" makes great work of an R.L. Stine classic. Go see it with your kids, or treat yourself and your inner child to an endearing reminder of what we love about the genre.
