The movie tricks and fishes adult viewers in by featuring cinema legends Dan Aykroyd and Chevy Chase. The movie starts to have creepy aesthetic and a unique take with soul sucking zombies to avoid any sort of gore, which I understand since it’s catering to a younger audience. However the dialogue, cheesiness and campiness fails to capture the attention of both young and old alike. I found myself consistently checking my watch, waiting for the movie to end.

Sweet and nostalgic with very light scares for the early teens and below. It's always good to see Dan Aykroyd even if it's in this not so funny light horror comedy. My wife actually liked it.

Honestly, the dialogue could be so much better. I felt like I was watching a school play with the main characters. Some funny parts, but it has so many plot holes it's more aggravating for me. It does not do the book any justice.
